Opportunities For Adults
At SoLO we provide a number of meaningful daytime activities and groups. We have a industry leading staff ratio to ensure we provide the best services for you.
Providing meaningful daytime activities for people with a learning disability. Daylight provides a Member-led programme providing a continually stimulating environment with a maximum of 20 members in each group and 1:4 staffing ratio
Evening Drop In Projects
As well as our daytime projects we also offer a number of evening drop in projects giving our members the opportunity to meet up with friends or make new ones.
A weekly social club on a Monday evening, for members to meet up with their friends, and enjoy the themed activities
A weekly opportunity for members to meet up and socialise with friends and enjoy the themed activities
A popular and very busy weekly disco on a Wednesday evening
Funky Fridays runs twice a month on a Friday evening. The 2nd Friday of every month is for 18+ and is a nightclub experience.
The 4th Friday of every month is for 11+ and is our Fabulous Family Disco.
Other SoLO Adult Projects
A weekly provision for member with profound and multiple disabilities to socialise, engage in arts and other leisure activities. It is held at the SoLO Annexe, Solihull Fire Station, Streetsbrook Road, Solihull
Time Out is a project that gives approximately 15 young people with learning disabilities aged 14+, the chance to meet with their peers and enjoy a leisure experience away from home.
Icebreakers is a community based project providing adults aged 18 and over with the opportunity to meet with their peers. The groups are supported by a paid leader and volunteers.
