Opportunities For Adults

Daytime Services

At SoLO we provide a number of meaningful daytime activities and groups. We have an industry leading staff ratio to ensure we provide the best services for you.


Providing meaningful daytime activities for people with a learning disability. Daylight provides a Member-led  programme providing a continually stimulating environment with a maximum of 20 members in each group and 1:4 staffing ratio

SoLO’s Evening Drop In Projects

As well as our daytime projects we also offer a number of evening drop in projects giving our members the opportunity to meet up with friends or make new ones.

Night Owl

A weekly social club on a Monday evening, for members to meet up with their friends, and enjoy the themed activities.  Cost per member is £4.50

Thursday Crew


A weekly opportunity for members to meet up and socialise with friends and enjoy the themed activities.  Cost per member is £4.50

Waterloo Social

A popular and very busy weekly disco on a Wednesday evening running from Kingshurst Labour Club, 51 Clopton Crescent, Chelmsley Wood B37 6QU.  Runs every Wednesday evening from 7 till 9 p.m.  An opportunity for members to meet in a disco setting and have a dance together, build friendships and develop relationships in a busy vibrant setting.

Funky Fridays


Funky Fridays runs twice a month on a Friday evening.  The 2nd Friday of every month is for 18+ and is a nightclub experience.The 4th Friday of every month is for 11+ and is our Fabulous Family Disco.

Cost: £4.50 (subject to change)

Time Out

Time Out is a project that gives approximately 15 young people with learning disabilities aged 14+, the chance to meet with their peers and enjoy a leisure experience away from home.

Evolve is an exciting day time project supporting adults with PMLD and/or complex health needs.  Evolve provides fun, stimulating activities to individuals where there is an opportunity for members to make friends and learn new skills.

It is a bespoke service which is specifically tailored to meet individual needs.  The staffing ratio is 1:1, supporting members to get involved and enjoy all aspects of what this exciting project can offer. Evolve operates from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday
